Capt. John:

My wife and I want to thank you for the great trip we had with you on the M/V Jack Sparrow to the Chiswell Islands.  You were outstanding in locating all of our target species and you gave us great looks at all of the birds.  Your persistent efforts to locate both the Kittlitz’s Murrelet and Ancient Murrelet paid off with great views of both species.  Your knowledge of the area provided us with great looks at the Thick-billed Murre and Red-faced Cormorant.  We got great photos of most of the target species.  We have already told several of my friends that your charter is the only way to see the Chiswell Islands.  Good luck with your new business!  We believe with your knowledge and interest in the marine life in the Seward area that you should be very successful.  Thanks again and good birding!

John,

Thank you for the great day of pelagic birding. Your skill, expertise and good company added significantly to our birding adventures in Alaska. Spotting all of the alcids exceeded our expectations. All but one of them were lifers for us, along with the Short-tailed Shearwater and the Red-faced Cormorant. And there too many other birds to list. The scenery was stunning, and the colonies of Kittiwakes, Puffins, Murres, and Killer Whales were sights we will never forget. The Mountain Goat and kid on the steep slope was an unexpected thrill. Overall it was a wonderful day on the Jack Sparrow. You have our highest recommendation and our best wishes for your future birding trips.
